It’s trunk show season again! This fall, we’ve been getting a lot of questions about our upcoming trunk shows. Brides want to know what happens at them and what they can expect so we thought we would share some info on our blog.

What is it: A trunk show is a special event organized by the bridal shop with the help of its designers. Dresses in a trunk show are from the newest collection and aren’t available in stores unless seen at a trunk show. This is an exciting opportunity for brides to see the latest in bridal fashion.

Why Should Brides Attend: For certain trunk shows, the designer will offer a special incentive for the brides to purchase so it is always a good idea to bring someone with you whose opionion is valuable to you; bring the decision makers.

Do You Need an Appointment: Most bridal shops work by appointments on a day to day basis but it is especially important to book ahead for a trunk show so you are certain that a consultant can set time aside to work with you.

Remember: Wedding gowns take 6-8 months to come in, so order at least one year before your wedding for a relaxed experience.
